Synopsis:
Revisionists have altered the truth about America’s true Christian beginnings. Universities and public school classrooms reflect a tainted version of the past and sometimes make outright dishonest claims. Was our nation founded by atheists, agnostics and deists as today’s secularists repeatedly tell us? This class will examine the men, manuscripts, movements and moments that gave us the country we enjoy. We can still claim and hold to a Biblical Foundation of nationhood. The 21st century church is confused. Christianity has slipped into apostasy. How can supposed Christians pray to deceased saints? Why do so called believers in Jesus defend abortion and homosexuality? Is it alright for a church to rock n roll? Since when are we supposed to fellowship with cults and the occult? Are there other “discovered” gospels? Is there an alternative “Jesus”? Which “salvation” is forever? The backward slide is a deliberate plan by Satan to replace the chaste bride with a loathsome “mother of harlots”. This class defines the seduction of Christianity and examines the stair stepped process of metamorphosis from church to anti-church. Synopsis:
The American Church is under invisible bondage. Pulpits are constrained with the social pressures of correctness and tolerance. Our principles of liberty of conscience have been deadened to the extent that they no longer guard against tyranny. To believe that the American church today is completely free is to step outside of the headlights of the martyrs of liberty. The class will examine the Biblical origins of religious liberty and the role these ideals play in a civil society.
